There is a bee on one side and a man on the other. While the bee colony works systematically and tirelessly to preserve the genus, humanity is slowly heading towards degeneration. Multiple Czech Lion winner, Miroslav Janek, seeks a parallel and inspiration for humanity in the fascinating world of bees. Despite climate change, he strives for coexistence with a species that has become endangered precisely because of our actions. The poetic documentary inspired by Radomil Hradil's book, Bees And Their World, gently reminds us that everything will turn out well - with or without humans.
