The happily married TV comedian Astrid is expecting her second child. Then, however, doctors diagnose the foetus with Down syndrome and a serious heart defect. Astrid is faced with the devastating dilemma whether to continue the pregnancy. The appraised psychological drama starring Julia Jentsch has stolen the spotlight at many film festivals.
