Desire Paths presents an unintentionally created trail, formed through the movement of people and animals. The soil undergoes mechanical erosion and gradually deteriorates. Where do these paths lead? Most often to the supermarket… Much has been written and filmed on the subject. This short video art piece follows the same route. By combining old digital footage and reusing it, the work metaphorically erodes their aesthetic quality. The short film was created by Živan Novotný at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art.
