What happens in the dustbin when no one’s watching? What if, unknowingly, we’re creating new life with our waste? And will that life be peaceful, or will it try to destroy us? This film study by Daria Kashcheeva marks her first steps into experimenting with stop-motion animation - an approach that later culminated in her globally acclaimed films, Daughter (2019) and Electra (2023). This short film (2017) was created as a student stop-motion exercise at the Animation Department of FAMU.
