Three generations of women are united by the pain of sudden loss. Can they find enough trust in one another for their wounds to begin healing? The documentary film, Amnion, captures the power of daily rituals, but also the importance of simple human presence, which helps us through the hardest of times. The title refers to the amniotic sac, a symbol of protection and new life, which in the film transforms into a space of trust, acceptance, and hope. Sarah Lomenová's film was created at FAMU in Prague and premiered at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival.
