Dancing your way to freedom. Thirteen-year-old Adina fled with her family from Afghanistan, where a violent conflict is raging. But life in peace doesn’t seem nearly as idyllic as she had imagined. That’s because they all brought with them the trauma of war, which prevents them from living life to the fullest again. So when the local school announces a talent contest, Adina sees it as a chance for a fresh start... Afghan-born director, Rabeah Rahimi, shot the film with her own production company, RAR Film GmbH, which seeks to support stories that offer an intersectional perspective on German minorities.
