Behind the final shape of films are often creators whose names remain out of the audience's spotlight. One of them is Jarosław Kamiński, the editor of films Ida (2013) and Quo Vadis, Aida? (2020). This short portrait, directed by Juliana Moska and Jan Vališ during their studies at FAMU, follows Kamiński's return to his hometown and to his own memories. He walks through the places of his childhood and reflects on his fascination with cinema, which led him to skip school as a youth. The Prague FAMU graduate has earned numerous accolades for his work, including a European Film Award for Cold War (2018) and two Czech Lion Awards for Restore Point (2023) and Zátopek (2021).
