So, kids, pay attention. Vivi is a digital influencer from Moravia who wants to share some insights on folklore with you. Get ready, because this is going to be a proper slayer! There’s just one little plot twist, though. Vivi’s actually a fake… What does contemporary digital folklore look like? Are traditions merely becoming hollow marketing tools and fashion trends? Viktoria Štěpánová’s graduation mockumentary from Prague’s FAMU is set in a simulated virtual world, but that doesn’t diminish its authenticity. Following its premiere at this year’s KVIFF, it won the Student Oscar in the alternative and experimental films category.
