A young woman returns to her native Alpine village. Her father has gone missing in the deep forests, and she must help find him. However, the village is bustling with preparations for the midsummer bonfire, and the troubled daughter would much rather spend time with her childhood friends. Now, though, she must be a parent to her father... Austrian director Simon Maria Kubiena may not be completely unknown to Czech audiences - his short film, Fighting with My Family, competed at the Zlín Film Festival in the Best Student Film category. He made his new film at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy.
