Sixteen-year-old Luca is a marketing product of her parents. They have been filming her on camera since birth, and her life has turned into an ongoing series watched by millions of viewers. So when her mother and father begin working on a new product, Luca starts questioning the value of her own life. Who is she outside the digital world? In his feature film debut, director Joscha Bongard partially follows up on his documentary, Pornfluencers (2022), in which he explored digital influencer culture from a different angle, yet with equal urgency and style. The German dramedy, Babystar, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
