How do you save a family when the end of the world is approaching? An aging father (Jan Vlasák) lives in the wilderness, preparing for the apocalypse. Upon his family's arrival, he does not hesitate to involve his daughter Marta (Klára Issová) and her two children in his plans. But Marta has just fled from a toxic husband and is looking for safety in the forest. Is there anywhere in the world where she can find peace again? The directorial debut by Evženie Brabcová, an otherwise established editor behind films such as My Sunny Maad (2021) or Is There Any Place for Me, Please? (2023). We present the opening film of this year’s Finále Plzeň festival in its world premiere.
