David Stypka was able to find extraordinary strength in ordinary moments. His songs won the hearts of thousands of listeners, but few knew the man behind them—a striking musician and a sensitive man full of self-doubt. Thsi film constructs a portrait of Stypka from the testimonies of his family, friends, Bandjeez band members, and fellow musicians, including Ewa Farna and Mirai Navrátil. Director Dan Svátek (Her Drunken Diary, The Smiles of Sad Men) delivers an intimate documentary about music, memory, and the legacy of a musician whose voice remains alive even after his passing.
