A young woman, Lilian (Elizaveta Maximová), has lived her entire life with mental disability. On top of that, she struggles with deep childhood trauma while raising her own daughter, Malvína (Valentýna Bečková). Without the help of old Mrs Halasová (Dana Syslová), she would hardly be able to bear such a burden. But one day, Mrs Halasová unexpectedly passes away. Can the now-isolated Lilian care for her daughter on her own? And will she manage to come to terms with a past that continues to haunt her every day? This sensitive story about the fragile mother-daughter relationship was directed by Jiří Strach (The Saint) in collaboration with experienced screenwriter Marek Epstein (Charlatan).
