Count Orlok awakens in a new adaptation of the now-classic tale of the centuries-old vampire. Eggers, Herzog, Murnau - three renowned directors, each with their own unique vision of the night's phantom. What makes it all the more fascinating is how closely Nosferatu is tied to our landscape. All three films were shot on Czech locations, the latest one at Pernštejn Castle, the château in Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, and the Barrandov Studios. As part of the Women and Film section, the festival will present set designer Beatrice Brentnerová, whose work on the film secured the Czech nomination for Best Production Design Oscar.
