For sixteen-year-old Saša, life in the Czech Republic represents a chance to start over. Together with his mother, he manages a holiday resort by the Vltava River, gradually finding his place in an unfamiliar environment. One day, a charismatic rowing coach named David enters his life, and Saša develops deep feelings for him. But David only has eyes for Saša's mother. A sensitive drama about first loves and heartbreaks, set somewhere on the line between childhood and adulthood. The film was created by Ukrainian director, Olexi Chubun, during his studies at FAMU in Prague; his documentary, Home ( 2022), was presented at the Ji.hlava festival in the Short Joy competition section.
