The true story of Czech criminologist Jiří Markovič, who during the 1970s and 1980s helped solve countless brutal crimes – thanks to his unique interrogation method, he was able to earn the trust of murderers. In the second season, Markovič faces the investigation of serial killer Jiří Straka, who, over the course of 1985, murdered several young women. The situation is particularly tense as a major Spartakiad is about to take place in the city, bringing thousands of potential victims to the city… Director's chair was passed from Pavel Soukup to Tomáš Pavlíček and Jan Vejnar, primarily known for the lighter feature film, She Came at Night.
