Thirty years. That is how long documentary filmmaker Helena Třeštíková (Katka, Private Trajectories) has been filming the life of singer Bára Basiková. The resulting work resembles a personal diary. Viewers get the chance to follow not only the successful career of a rock star, but also its dark side, her privacy, and intimacy. Who really is Bára Basiková? A singer and an actress? A mother and a woman? Is a star's life truly so carefree, or is it accompanied by a host of struggles? The legendary creator of time-lapse documentaries brings another unique project that manages to capture the transformations of a single human life.
