The Klišík twins live in solitude in the wilderness of Šumava mountains, only with their animals. Long ago, the brothers decided to sever ties with society, and since then they have shared their entire existence. Yet each of them harbours different dreams… Documentary filmmaker Miro Remo (Richard Müller: Unknown; At Full Throttle) drew inspiration from Aleš Palán’s successful book. His gamble on an unconventional approach paid off - the film won the top prize in the main competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, bringing the Crystal Globe back to Czech hands for the first time in eight years since Little Crusader.
