A maternal odyssey through Italy. Ester (Aňa Geislerová) sets out on a well-deserved holiday with her son, David (David Vodstrčil), a boy with a mental disability. As they travel in an old caravan through sun-drenched landscape overlooking the blue sea, they both realize how deeply they long for freedom. And that we all grow older, yet still have dreams… The feature debut of director Zuzana Kirchnerová achieved remarkable success – it was selected for the prestigious Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, something no Czech film had accomplished in over thirty years.
