It’s a hot summer day. Almost like any other. But Michal (Milan Ondrík) will never forget it. After a tragic mistake, his relationship with his wife Zuzka (Dominika Morávková) falls apart, and he is left alone with the crushing weight of guilt. Who else could he blame but himself... With her third feature film, director Tereza Nvotová moves from the folkloric horror, Nightsiren (2022), back to the intimate psychological depth of her debut, Filthy (2017). Father was selected for the prestigious Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival, where it will have its world premiere.
