Somewhere near Fichtelberg Peak in the Ore Mountains, a terrifying secret is hidden. The villagers of Urbach all fear the place. No one would be foolish enough to set foot there. But when mysterious forces abduct young Alma (Viktória Jurištová), it's time for heroism. A knight in love, Petr Pětipeský (Jan Dlouhý), sets out on a daring quest to rescue her and uncover the mystery of Fichtelberg… This ambitious historical family film by Šimon Koudelka follows in the tradition of Czech animation, drawing especially on the poetic style of Karel Zeman, who masterfully combined live action with elements of animation.
