A young dentist, Anička (Tereza Ramba), inherits a dental practice from her uncle. But in the small town of Medov, rumors circulate that the house is haunted, and so nobody dares to visit the clinic. What no one knows yet is the miraculous gift Anička possesses. As word about the new dentist begins to spread, she also attracts the unwanted attention of the makers of a sugary delicacy called Cukrkandl... This family film is filled with suspense, fantasy, humor, and a touch of poetic atmosphere. Director Pavel Jandourek is no stranger to the adventurous fantasy genre – his Maharal – The Secret of the Talisman was inspired by treasure-hunting tales.
