A classic work of German expressionism and, at the same time, the very first film adaptation of the Dracula novel. And yet, not quite. Director F. W. Murnau never obtained the rights to make the film, which led to the creation of an altered version – Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Although the production bankrupted the Prana Film studio, the film went on to become iconic. For its play with chiaroscuro, striking shadows, Gothic stylization, and also Slovak locations, including Orava Castle. A unique opportunity to experience this over 100-year-old classic from 1922 on the big screen. The grand restored organ will be played by one of the leading Czech masters of organ improvisation and composer, Karel Martínek. Organized in cooperation with NANĚMO.
