According to our judicial laws, scent evidence is often the only sufficient proof to convict a person. But is this method really that bulletproof? Scent Evidence traces the stories of people who were unjustly convicted based on this indemonstrable method, the flaws of which have been pointed out by numerous experts. The documentary was directed by Zuzana Piussi, one of the most established documentary filmmakers on the Slovak-Czech scene (known for films such as The Grasp of the State and Common Sense). The film premiered at the Ji.hlava Festival, where it competed in the Czech Joy section.
