SCREENINGS
Twelve-year-old Toma is visited at home by a stranger. He calls himself Nemo and claims to be his father. Toma last saw him ten years ago—before he was sent to prison. Now, Nemo says he is trying to set things right. Together, they leave for their native mountain village, trying to make up for the lost years. But the time is drawing near when Nemo will have to answer some uncomfortable questions. Can Toma build any kind of relationship with this unknown man, or is their bond broken forever? The film was directed in Czech co-production by Georgian filmmaker, Georgiy Ovashvili, whose Corn Island (2014) won the Crystal Globe at KVIFF.
